For more information please contact Viktor Piorecky at: phone +420-604913925 Background informationDear all, How to get there?International coaches as well as airplanes from abroad arrive in Prague, however some of the international coaches continue to Brno as well. In Prague,
You have to find bus station called Florenc, which is the point of departure of
buses to Brno (companies: Student Agency, Cesky Narodni Expres - all the timetables are awailable at www.idos.cz). From Prague’s
airport, there are buses going to Florenc. Count with at least 45 minutes for
the way airport - Florenc. The bus trip from Prague to Brno takes 2,5 hours.
Second possibility is to take train from Prague’s main train station. The train
trip takes at least 3,5 hours. The bus is cheaper (140CZK/ approx.4,5 Euros),
more comfortable and faster…Czech Airlines (www.csa.cz) provide free coaches to Brno (directly from
airport) and back to the airport for those who have the ticket for Czech Airlines flight (not automatically, you have to ask for it). When you pay extra
money (and it is really expensive), you can use their coaches even when using
the flights of another company. When you are in BrnoBelow, You can find map with numbers showing important places. No.4 is the main bus station called Zvonarka (there you arrive by international coaches), no. 3 shows the main train station (“Hlavni nadrazi”), no. 2 is the bus station (in front of Hotel Grand) where you come if you take bus from Florenc or Prague’s Airport, no.1 (the square besides) shows the place of the meeting. From main train station, you can easily walk straight ahead from the station building the street is called Masarykova, it is closed for trafic and fourth street to the left is Panska street. From Hotel Grand you have to walk to the train station (to the left)from Zvonarka, you can walk to the train station or take the tram no.13 to the train station (two stops).
