Netetiquette

In general

Please be responsible with your postings. There are lots of people receiving your message.

Keep the relevancy

We do not want to exaggerate the "censorship", but remember that many of the subscribers are subscribed to several lists and get loads of e-mail to sort and read. We want this list to be focused on issues related to the arms trade within the framework of ENAAT.
Messages outside of the list subjects may be looked upon as "junk mail" by some subscribers and may lead to that people unsubscribe from the list and that discussions are interfered. If your message is not in the subjects of this list, try to find another list for your message. There exists thousands of email lists on the net.

No personal messages

Do not reply a message to the whole list if it is not relevant for the list topics. Reply instead privately to the person. Observe that the list is by default set to reply to the whole list. If your email is of private interest, copy the email address and forward the message instead.

No one-liners

One-liners are posting that do not add anything new to the discussion, for example: "I fully agree with you", "I've got your point" and so on. Messages like this should be sent directly to the person, not to the entire list.

Small attachments

In general, do not send attachments to the list but if you do, try to limit their size. Rather, send a message with your email for people to contact you if they want the file or give a link to the file on the net.
